Merry Christmas!!

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” ~Luke 2

May your Christmas be filled with His love, peace & joy!!!

Happy Fall Y'all!!

Here is a glimpse into our busy Fall so far with Addilyn's first haircut, school starting, trip to the train park, Fall Festival, Halloween, Trunk or Treat, OMSI, and pumpkin patches galore!  We have had some gorgeous weather up until the first week of October and then it's been off & on.  Yesterday it was 70...what?!  For Oregonians that is unheard of, but we loved it!

Happy Birthday Ella!

We got "tangled" up in some fun for Ella's 7th birthday party!
This was such a fun party to plan & by far my favorite of all her parties.  Thank goodness for Pinterest! I found lots of ideas on there and would have been in a world of hurt if not for all the people who so willingly share their creativity....so thank you! :)

Rapunzel is that you???

The doughnut tower cake that I found online.  Easy to serve & a big hit with all the girls!

Jello boats & snacks served in frying pans!

We called the kitchen the Snuggly Duckling.

Each of the girls took a turn hiding the crown in the  satchel around the house.  This was a great game &  they all had lots of fun playing.

Party favors were flower hair clips that I made & a small canvas with a crayola paint brush marker.

Ella wanted to make this for the party so Andy brought home some butcher paper & we just let her paint away.  She loved doing it & it looked just like Rapunzel's painting in the movie.

We strung up a roll of yellow table covering all over the house to look like Rapunzel's hair.  It started outside the front door & into the kitchen.

I blew up this photo at Kinko's and they played pin the frying pan on  Flynn Rider's nose.

Crafts!  We decorated crowns with yellow ribbon for Rapunzel's hair & made Pascal party blowers!
