This Is The Stuff...

This song feels like it was written about my life!  It is a beautiful reminder to me that God is with me always and can use any circumstance for His good....even silly stuff that happens from being a stay-at-home mommy.
Truly blessed....

Our Little Lady is 2!

Happy Birthday to our sweet lovebug, Addilyn Joan!

It's so cliche, but life really does seem to just fly by faster all the time.  Addilyn celebrated her 2nd birthday yesterday and it's so hard to believe she's walking...no more like running, talking, singing, dancing, climbing, and into all sorts of trouble on a daily....no more like minutely (is that a word?) basis when only yesterday she was a tiny baby I was holding in my arms.  For all the trouble she gets into, she also brings us immense joy every second of the day!  She loves to give kisses, hugs, and she'll often say, "I wuv you!" or "I hold you!" (which really means she wants us to hold her.)  She also didn't seem to mind that her birthday party got turned into a Super Bowl party! ;)

The cake!

Decorations....not to be mistaken with a Trailblazer party!

Close up...

Ready to go in ladybug style!

The best family picture we could get....Addi does not like looking at the camera. Grrrr!

Opening Gifts! Yay!

Same present...apparently this is hard-work.

"Open, peas!" works like a charm on Uncle Danny.

Suckered Stacey into reading my new book.

"Open, peas" works again!

Playing in the new castle.

Cinderella dress so I can be just like big sis!

Another victim suckered by my charms! ;)

Time to blow out the candles....2 is a big number! :)

This is way harder than it looks!

Really, I have to cut the cake I spent all day making?!

Life

Life has been so busy lately....went to Roseburg to visit my family-specifically my cousin & his family that were visiting from Alaska, (Yay!) one of my best friends moved to Colorado in just a matter of weeks from announcing it, (Boo!) way too much subbing, tutoring twice a week, starting projects around the house, preschool, ballet, oh and the fact that I can't leave this little one alone for more than 1 minute or she's into something!!

Here she found the stool in the pantry, pushed it over to the counter, used the knobs as footholds, made her way on top of the counter and into the candy bowl....all while I was in the bathroom. Nice. Other favorite spots include on top of the tables, breakfast bar, desk in the office, and getting into my tutoring stuff where I happen to keep a red sharpie....yep, RED!  If anyone knows how to get sharpie out of fabric, please let me know. It seems to come off skin within 2-3 days....not that I would know that from experience! ;-)
